Have you ever had to run the mile? I have, (today) and the mile probably isn't precisely a mile, but I had a time of 9:44. I know, I'm a slow runner. Some walked, and they got, I don't know, 14:00.
I was definitely NOT looking forward to it, but when I was running, it was just kind of tiring. As soon I was knew it, I was back at the lap mark.
There's one girl who's REALLY fast. She beat all the boys and ran it in 6:45.
(We're 6th Graders)
Could you guys ever do that?
If you have run the mile, what time did you get? Were you tired? How did you feel before and after it?
Discussify. (credit to Aidan for this fabulous word)

The mile? What I do is jog it until I get near the end(probably 4 yards) and... SPRINT!!
I forgot my time, though.

I hate running. The fastest time I ever got was like 5 years ago (sad knowing I can do less running than I could now) was like around 6 and a half minutes. I'm slow as heck now (I mainly do cycling) so my mile time is probably around like maybe between 8 and 8 and a half the last time I ran it. The main problem I get, is that I always cramp up, which makes it a lot more painful and harder to run anyways.

I'd probably get somewhere between 8:55-6:20. Depending how hot is is, how much I got, if I have water...
I can go a LOOOOOONG way if I have a big bottle of water xD

I actually broke 6 minutes last time I did it in 8th grade, but just barely, with 5:53.
Of course after that I couldn't use my legs for about another 5 minutes, and I was incredibly sore the next day.
Maybe that's why I'm called Scamp.

My PE teacher in fifth grade said we would fail middle school gym class if we couldn't run a mile in a minute. He lied.
Er, I haven't had gym class yet. So far, I've only done health. I believe we switch to gym halfway through the semester, and when we do, we start with archery.

I dunno, I've been too busy learning about self image and whatnot to ask about the gym class schedule.
I'll ask my friends who are doing gym, though. I think its softball, but I'm probably wrong.

I ran a 10km course in 30:36, someone convert that into how much it would take for me to run 1 mile. This was 2 years ago though and I have barely run since, only to catch the train once in a while.

By my calculations it would take you about 4 minutes and 55 seconds to run a mile. Are you sure that that is the right number?

I'm in cross country, so I'm doing two miles in less than fourteen minutes.

For soccer, we have to do 2 miles in 12 minutes to make varsity, and I can get a mile barely under 6, so I've gotta train before next season starts up (I made JV this year, which is running in 13:30, but next year I'll be a junior, so I'll have to make Varsity or I don't make a team).

I ran a mile. I got lapped twice and was probably the last to finish. I hate running.
