They only hurt a little. Talking is the most difficult. You learn to talk again and then when there off, remember how to talk like you use to.

My friend just got them. She rubs wax on them and it helps. She says there not that bad, but you may talk with a lisp. Like thith.
Um...can you help me, experienced peeps?
I have a gap in my front teeth, big enought to get a key in there.
Um, my dentist appointment is in November, because my stupid cast means I can't go sooner because I can't get up the stairs to the dentist.
Will I probably need braces?

Yeah, they're more annoying that anything, but it only takes about a week to get used to them. Just brush your teeth more.
Oh, and the second day hurts the most. I got bruises and stuff on my tounge from the hooks.

Cool. I hope I never have to get them.
I'm 13 and still losing my baby teeth

Braces only hurt the first day or so, then every time they are adjusted. Just make sure you don't break anything, because angry dentists are not something you want to see.

When hygenists leave on long vacations that's when dentists scream and lose their patience
Phrase from the song dental care by owl city. On topic: My sister has braces. She says they're really annoying, but I think that it'll be ok for you. Just make sure you eat soft stuff.

No
I'm 11, and I only have one or two more baby teeth to lose.
It's definitely not based on gender- more like genes or whatever.

No. It's just a Jean-is-so-epically-awesome thing.

Is it odd that my wisdom teeth came through aged 11?

argh...
I have to see an orthodontist to see if I need braces (which I probably do) I was supposed to have an appointment yesterday, but my parents messed up, so I have a little longer to live...
