I thought yesterday was your last day. Reported or not, I'd like an explanation.
And, obviously, the monster sounds bad. If you weren't to mention the fact he was trying to kill them, it could have gone either way. But, this also depends on if the main characters are evil or not. And, also, you have been making a lot of threads about your book. Maybe you should make one main thread for everything Magic-Bath related.

The point of that, in case you didn't realize, was to keep this thread on topic, which are are really not helping with.

Aside from the first two sentences of my post, which happened to be the only part you quoted, my post was very on topic. And, actually, by saying that you have made me feel inclined to reply defending my point, which, in the end, has potentially made the off-topic conversation longer than it would have been had you just answered my question. Eh, but whatever. And, then again, if you would have answered other people would have had comments to make, so I'm assuming you're probably right.

So, yeah, typically shape shifting monsters that are trying to kill people are percieved as bad. This was a fairly odd question, anyway, because there isn't any evidence supporting that the monster could be good.
