Honestly, do you think I'd make a good mod? If not, please give an example of why not.

With all due respect: I saw that you wanted to be a candidate for moderator. Why is it that you are questioning yourself now when you were confident before to put up a speech earlier?

I'm actually confident that I'd be a good moderator, but I'd still like to be able to improve myself via the examples that people might post.

Apologies for the misinterpretation, but usually when I see candidates asking if they would be a good moderator after they've posted a speech, it raises up a flag for me, making me think that perhaps they are biting off more than they can chew, so to speak.
Like with my feelings with most of the moderator candidates, most of the behavior I have seen form you is pretty positive, so I think you would be able to take care of most things moderators deal with like removing spam and blocking SEO spammers. But there have been some cases where some of your comments seem rather off-putting, making me question if you could handle bigger situations that moderators may have to sometimes deal with. To cite one example or many, there was one sarcastic comment you made where you posted this picture (the comment was made about three to four days ago, so it's pretty recent).
I have a feeling that may have been intended as a joke, but this could easily be misinterpreted. Recall that many people look to moderators, so moderators have to be careful and clear about what they say, especially considering that comments can be easily misinterpreted.
I have seen good behavior from you, but, at this point, I'm just rather hesitant because of some of the examples where the comments seem rather insensitive or perhaps not so well thought out. I recall a previous situation where I've said to you before to think before you type; I think it's best if you continue to reflect upon that.

That was intended as a joke, but I see how it could be taken badly.
