Hello, it's me, blueblue! I'm happy to announce that starting soon (most likely October,) I will be starting an online bimonthly scratch magazine!
Sections will include:
Articles about famous users and projects
A mini-section(s) for lesser known scratchers that deserve a shout-out
A projects you can make section
A letter answering section
Maybe even an article about scratch day, or maybe even... GLOUGH!!!
(maybe)
If there is something you want to say in the letters section, e-mail them to [email removed by Moderator] with the Subject "Magazine Letter." I'll keep this forum updated on any news.

Sounds cool!
I particularly like the idea of "projects you can make" - very unique. Unfortunately, giving out emails on the Scratch website isn't allowed - thanks for understanding

I wanna do an advice column. I can help people by telling them how they can get more views and how to do certain things in Scratch like velocity-based movement and more accurate collision detection.
Sure, I can use all the help I can get! E-mail it to me. You should also use pictures.

Well right now I has no question, so unless I have a question or two to answer, I can't necessarily answer anything :3

That is where you can ask me questions. ^^

You could try using a hitbox, which is a second costume or sprite with different colors to detect hits on different places on the sprite. They're pretty common in games now so it shouldn't be hard to find one that uses such. Try gravity adventure or Updraft.
