windows 7 is my idea
Hello scratch! We just got a new windows 7 laptop to replace our old Sony VAIO. It's a Gateway.
what are some good tricks in windows 7?

If the laptop is powerful you might want a few apps to manage the system at a glance. Since it is a gateway put the security up really high. Note that with windows 7 they took out a lot of things like multiple toolbars that would help with system management.
Windows 7 ripped off my idea.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

It is SOOOOOO0OOO worth it. I had enough money to get Win7 HomeP Upgrade. I recovered from vista-itis.

Absolutely worth it. windows vista had tons of glitches. we had to get our motherboard replaced and return it to factory settings twice. about the new features, we haven't even had it for a full day, and the background is still the default. Paint still doesn't have transparency! 
I might have some plans for our old laptop. (insert evil grin here)
