As we all know, the Scratch Moderator elections are due this september and already many scratchers have put up their forum topics to vote them. Here is my topic-
There are thousands of Scratchers around here, but why would you choose me??? I give you some reasons here--
- I am very straightforward in my point and dont talk uselessly.
- I have good communication abilities and a good grasp of English.
- I dislike people who dirty other person's topics and projects saying useless things.
- I am good at handling responsiblities.
- I am online almost everyday (I admit it that I am less frequent than other scratcher)
- However, I do not waste my time here on Scratch but try to use it well (except when I'm on TBG)
- I try to look out for effort and talents other people put in their projects(which can be seen in my comments)
- I try to make only perfect things. That is why I have so few projects, even though I have been here for 2 years.
THANK YOU FOR READING and I'm sorry if you felt that I was too far-fetched in my writing.
Please do comment on myself and my nomination speech. Negative Criticism is also welcomed.
The following are the things I would do if I become a mod-
- Organize the forums, especially the Tbgs, Misc and the Show and tell sections.
- Get the wiki more prominence so that New Scratchers know where to search for anything they don't know.
- Expansion of wiki to answer all possible questions about Scratch.

You claim to have been on the Scratch Community for 2 years; how do we know you've been here that long, even though it doesn't seem so based on your register date and oldest project? After all, one of the requirements is to have been on the Scratch Community for at least 6 months.

You'd probably make a good typical "serious mod" but yeah, you don't seem to have been in the community for much time.

I have been here from 2 years (as my memory recalls). It might be less, I dont know. But I went offline for a long time and returned this June, when I started making my first project. That is why my first project is shown to be earlier. As for the register part, please tell me what it is so that I can accurately put the time since when I was here.
As for the "How do we know... " part, I simply don't know how can I prove it.
THANKS for commenting.

Hmm... do you have any comments from over 6 months ago? (go to your user profile and on the left click "View Comment List") Find the oldest one (hopefully more than 6 months ago), and then it will say "View project" as a link - give us that link. Then we can see the project to see that you've been on Scratch for at least 6 months
. Or else, 2 years may be impressive - but if you've only be USING the account for less than 6 months, I don't really think it counts.

One thing to take into consideration is that moderators have to be careful about what they say, as people look up to them. Being respectful in commenting is important, especially when dealing with tricky situations. Getting rid of commercial spammers, censoring out words that pass the filter, helping out others, and removing spam is easy... but there are some situations where a mod is called to go beyond that to prevent flaming from happening and to try and rectify the situation.
Sadly, with some of your actions lately, I don't feel that you can yet exhibit this, and I don't feel you're speech reflects your character. In my opinion, I believe that you're not quite up to the job of being a moderator at this moment.

Sorry for that part but it was only that CSVH's first post, (which was filled with things you wont recognize Scratch with) that made me angry.
I did apologize later.

After being told 3 times. What do you mean things you won't recognize Scratch with? It makes complete sense. Yes, this is on topic as we're discussing why I should change my mind and vote for you.

Considering what you did on Nationstates in the TBG's. I'd say I won't vote for you.
*cough* You're one to talk *cough* I hope you're enjoying your stay in the Rejected Realms. :)
