Yes, gigantic.
I have dubbed them the 'ruffle' bees :O
Just kidding, but these are scary. Luckily, I just found out flame throwers are legal to own, and I can get one for only 500 dollars, so I have protection against these things
Curse those darn YouTubers with their sweary comments :C
I took off the link

You know flame throwers cost 20 dollars. A can of Hornet spray and a cigarette lighter= Flame thrower (just don't blow ur self up)

Oh, um, you need to take off the link, there's cursing in the comments.

Yeah, but those are risky, and I'm too handsome to die... err... too young to die*
Besides, I'm no mechanic
I would blow myself up

Actually, I would never do it in real life. But I still don't care when my friends do it.

Woah. Intimidating indeed.
Now I'm just waiting for someone to write an in-depth wikipedia-style article on 'ruffle' bees

Wow, I hope I never encounter a life one in real life. That hornet is ridiculously huge.
Since we no longer have Blade-Edge's YouTube video, here's another video (swear free) for you guys to watch (sorry about the small screen and no sound). http://www.worsleyschool.net/science/fi … video.html

Yeah, they live in japan. You should've seen the video, it was like a giant one completely massacring the small bees :O
30 of them took out 30,000

Are those for real? I just saw another one of those SyFy-original grade B movies which was all about giant genetically designed "weaponized" wasps that looked really similar to those. I thought it was fiction
Offline
Yeah they're real
Did you see Swarmed? :O
That movie was cool. The king bee like ate a guy's eyeball and crawled into his head, and some woman used a shotgun to blow it up

I thought the video was CGI at first.

I tried to look up pictures of the infected sting wounds, but I couldn't find any
I think they only attack small bees when they want the territory, but they don't attack humans unless they cause a threat

Whoa! It's a beedrill! You should try to catch one! XD
I'm serious, though. If you could tame one of those ridiculously huge bugs..... You would have a pet Pokemon!

I think they might have used one of these bees as a real life version of Beedrill in a real pokemon collection.

I was hinting towards that someone made a beedrill out of that thing. *sting*
