did you see it?
everyone thinks that, i don't know a single person who has seen it and disliked it.

lol
i'm not religious at all, but it's all like comic style violence, nothing like an action film. i found it pretty kid friendly.
but i'm not sure how old you are, or where your parents draw the line on violence. i personally found it mild, but who knows.

You don't even know what Scott Pilgrim is about, so I would appreciate it if you don't make up stuff about it if you've never seen the movie
If you don't like the movie and you haven't seen it and you don't even plan on going, then stop posting here

I'm sorry, i'm not trying to be...I dunno what you call it, but I just can't stand it when religion is used for the purpose of an, to be honest with you, a rather otherwise lame argument. Also we are not supposed to be talking about religion, or politics. Also, I have seen a bit of the movie, including fight scenes, and it SEEMS to be more of a parody/tribute.

Giving the wrong impression.

Have you even seen it? It tells you specific things which are in the certain category. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446029/parentalguide
XDXDXD That's not bad!

guys, WHO CARES. It's just a dumb movie. Now stop arguing before this becomes a religous flame war.

yes, i figure if you haven't seen it you can't comment about it
there is no nudity in scott pilgrim, and very limited swearing. the violence is all done in a very kid friendly style.
if you still won't see it i don't care, just stop saying that it's a bad film when you haven't even seen it, i hate when people do that.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World looks pretty funny. But is it really better than Avatar? I thought Avatar was really good, although it seemed like the storyline was the exact same as that of Pocahontas.

How? I haven't seen the film yet, but I know what it's about.
The plot was literally almost the exact same. The difference is that Avatar is in 3D, it has lots of special effects and amazing graphics, it takes place in the future, and the characters are different.

Also, Scott Pilgrim isn't inappropriate >.> Some of the commercials make it seem innapropriate, but it isn't like that...

I know two people who went to see Scott Pilgrim, and they walked out because it was so inappropriote. Granted, they were Jehovah's Witnesses, but those two people also saw movies like iron man, and didn't walk out. So I am definitely not watching it.

stop bringing up religion please
all i know is that jehovah's witnesses have many beliefs i strongly disagree with, however let's leave this out of the conversation please.
i don't really understand why your friends would do that. this film is basically an indie film with the budget of a regular film, and it's magnificent! i found iron man more violent, and the sexual content was very limited.
personally, i shudder at a society that welcomes violence with open arms yet finds mild sexual content like that inappropriate.
maybe that's just me though.

I agree with all of this.

thank you keikij
as for caleb, I was merely pointing out that you kept bringing up that you and your friends we're all jehovah's witnesses. while I respect your beliefs I don't see how that fact has any relevance to the situation.

Ugg, STOP. Please leave caleb alone. He does not need to agree with the film. He does not need to enjoy the film. He does not need to see the film. His not being allowed to see the film is HIS PROBLEM, NOT YOURS. I think you should learn to better tolerate others preachings. You may not agree with them, but this is a free country, and people are allowed to express there beliefs.

Militarydudes, maybe you should tolerate that if he isn't planning on seeing the movie, he should not be posting in a thread dedicated to seeing the movie.

yah militarydudes
we're not attacking, he's attacking the film and we're simply defending it. you should be telling him to stop.
i simply asked him not to put down a movie he had not seen. that seems reasonable.

You could've just said that to him and stopped there, instead of of blabbering on about how awesome it is, fueling his need to reply, thus fueling your need to reply, and so on.

If you look back on the topic, you'll find that I did twice, and that I didn't blabber. That's more like how you keep repeating what you've been repeating
