However, I have heard of no cases of anybody getting a virus from Scratch. It is safe.

If scratch wasn't safe, not even 10 members would be on (just like my forum ). Scratch is safe to download. Proof is that there's more than 100,000 members of the site.

It's .mit.edu - don't forget that!!! If mit can't take care of a website, then it dosen't deserve to be half as famous. lol XD and yea what everyone else said.

True, but the real key there is .edu . That is only for educational sites, which have to be safe. That's how you know. IF it was .com , than the MIT part or 100,000 users would give it away
