Well, here's my speech:
My Scratch History:
I started Scratch in 2007, just a few weeks after it was released to the public. This was back in 4th grade when I hardly knew how to use the program. At the time, I didn't have an account on the Scratch website, so I couldn't get help there. I slowly gained knowledge about how to use more advanced features, and in 2009, I finally made an account and uploaded my first project; a simple clock. until April 2010, I hardly ever looked at Scratch because I didn't have internet on my computer. But when I got it, I decided to go back to Scratch. I browsed around a bit, and finally made my first post in the forums. That was when everything started. I'm on Scratch every day that I can be, I've made over a thousand forum posts and I've uploaded 5 pages of projects. I've refined my skills with Scratch enough that I can, and will, help others with their problems with it.
Why I Should Be a Moderator:
The fact that I am on every day is a huge contributing factor, every two days or so, I find a topic that's misplaced, or needs to be closed. Currently, I just politely report it and tell a Moderator to move or close it. The problem is, sometimes they just don't come quick enough and someone may not be getting the help they need, or an off-topic thread may be getting more off-topic. I would love to just be able to move or close it myself, it would be so much more convenient for me, and the person or people that I'm helping. Another thing is that, being a moderator, I won't stop posting. I'll still post just as much as I normally do, and I won't wait for problems to occur to post. I'd say that seventy-five percent of the time, when I see that the latest post in a topic was a Moderator, it means that the topic was closed. This is definitely a good thing, but it also means that they don't make as many non-moderator posts as they probably did before they were elected. Instead of the moderator partition of my posts being cut into my average, it will be an addition to it. How will this help? Well, I'll still be adding as much information to topics as I normally do, and I will be doing just as much moderating as I should.
I think that covers everything. If you have any questions or feedback, post below!

Wow! I had no idea you were running.
I know that you would be a great mod! I'm still deciding, but I think that you are really a person I would vote for.
(Oh, and best to delete those bumps

Man, who isn't running for moderator?
You've likely got my vote though. Glad to see you running.
I've been thinking about running since they elected the last ones. There's not even an official election set yet!
