That's not a religious discussion, and as long as the picture isn't too gruesome/realistic/creepy, I'd say it's probably fine.
I'm not quite so sure about that. Seeing images of the Twin Towers burning can rather evoke pretty strong memories about that day; most people (especially those who were more directly affected by the 9/11 attacks) would probably not want to see an image of the Twin Towers burning. During the 9/11 attacks, I had a clear view of the Twin Towers outside my classroom window; I know I wouldn't want to see the image of the Towers burning again.
I guess that's true.
You saw them burning? How old were you? What did your teacher say?

In all honesty, I don't really want to talk about it right now.

I understand.

I feel bad for America for what happened. But I will also note that Americans have it easy compared to Israels. Some of them have to take rocket attacks every day, and they only have 15 seconds to get out of the way.

it was worst than Pearl Harbor. All those who died were defenseless.
May there souls through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

I think he means that the men defending Pearl Harbor actually had weapons, whereas those working in the World Trade Center did not.

How is that worse then if they had defenses? And I meant in contrast, you can't really defend against an atomic bomb except with bomb shelters so it shouldn't even be compared to a plane crashing into a building anyways.

Ace, I really think you could find a less antagonistic way to say that you disagree with his reasoning.
Also...this topic was created as a memorial. It really isn't very polite to turn it into some sort of trivial discussion comparing it to other disasters. This one was a tragedy in it's own right and we mourn those who died.
I think maybe it is time to close this.
