I was thinking, it would be alot more easy to collab with chat rooms or through Webcams.
We would be able to work alot faster and be able to all be on at the same time.
I know i could use this.
Things i would like in this feature, you could invite what users you whant (or whoever joins)
People who think this is a good idea:

This has already been suggested. Check the sticky in Collaborations.

If not even text chatrooms are allowed, there's absolutely no way video chats will be, no matter what the reason. Why not just use Skype?
As with any form of communication involving minors, we are concerned for the safety of the minors. Skype conversations are unmonitored and there is no easy way to report issues. These characteristics make it seem quite risky and not something we would recommend.

All I know is that my friend Wei2912 and my other friend Ohmygawd once met up on Skype, and using webcam, to discuss their new project, Dungeon City(due to be out in December/January). But seeing as they share the same school and even the same class, which I'm also in, I don't think that counts.

Yeah. I really meant just for that. I wouldn't suggest using it with someone you didn't know, obviously.

count me as a not agreer. as well as P2see.
i think that if you want to do a collab use emails or external chat. it's your external decision and has nothing to do with Scratch (except for the final result).
i have done that with Sperry for my Synthacode collab. (see synthacode.weebly.com) and it turned out ot be working really well.
we use the hamachi program which also allows us to use mesh ina Scratch project too.

Yep, Hamachi is easy to use to chat and talk about it, and its helped us a lot, since emails took longer.
Also, non-agreer is me
