I wouldn't be so sure, some would be offended/disappointed.

I'm not trying to hide my opinion, but you have to understand that when it comes to voting, people have a right to not tell anybody what they said, and it's common for it to happen when voting. It's not like something else in the Scratch community, such as deleting misc or not - where posting your opinion will actually change the likeliness of the event to happen (in this situation to a small extent), and isn't really harmful to any people.
