Hi everyone, I'm adriangl, a dedicated Scratcher. I started using Scratch 3 years ago, and have been using the forums just as long. I have some ideas on how to improve and clean up the Scratch forums, so I have decided to run for community moderator. I also go on often, so I can moderate everyday. Here is my speech:
Speech
"I would like to become a Scratch Community Moderator. I have been Scratching for a long time(over 3 years), and I know my ways around the forums. I come on everyday, and view most topics. I know how to be a moderator because I have been on a forum with more than 1000+ users. I am also an admin for Scratch Resources. I know how to use proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and BBCode. So please elect me to be your next Scratch Community Moderator
(I also know how to use smilies in the right places
)"
As I mentioned, I have many ideas on how to improve the Scratch forums. Here is one of my ideas on a topic that has been popular in recent weeks.
Ideas
Miscellaneous Topic - The miscellaneous forum topic has been a huge discussion over the last few weeks. Some forum users want the miscellaneous forum deleted, while others want it moved. Both of those ideas have been replied to by andresmh, and both ideas were turned down. But another idea, that hasn't been turned down, so far, is to make the rules stricter. This means no more totally off-topic threads and discussions. If I were elected community moderator, I would start a cleanup program to delete off-topic threads and spam threads as soon as they started. Scratch users would be able to help out by reporting any threads that they thought were spam. This might clean up the miscellaneous forum topic, once and for all.
Extra Stuff
Just some other background information. I am the founder and admin of the Scratch Users Wiki, an unofficial wiki for Scratch users. I am also an(inactive, but I'm active again) editor on the Scratch Wiki. I am the admin of Scratch Resources, a resource site made by JSO.
So please, vote adriangl for Scratch community moderator, and help the Scratch Community!

Does it make a difference? I have read the TOU almost 20 times, and you think I'd make a bad mod. So, does it make a difference?
And adriangl, I bet you'll make the candidate list because of all of your work on the Wiki.

Yes, it does make a difference.
If they have not read the Terms of Use, then that says alot.

Then they were responsible enough to read the rules of the site. Thats all that says, really.

Technically, he only made four article edits to the Scratch Wiki, but nevertheless he is a good candidate with all of his experience in the rest of the site.

Yeah, that's why I thought of that. Eh, but that's an important part, in fact, probably the most important xD

Yeah, what happened to the goats?
They went extinct
Now the sheep rule
By the way, Adrian, you lost my vote with this topic, sorry
But, I wouldn't vote for you as a mod even if you didn't make this topic, due to some past wave experiences

Yeah, I can't undo it now, but believe me, I totally regret what I said. But still, that's the past, and it wasn't on Scratch, so I'll try to just move on

What, do you spend all day just sitting at the ToU re-reading it? No, I'm serious. Why would you read it more than 3 times ever?

It's ok. Wiki-editing is just volunteer work - so it's completely optional. Some users join the wiki just to edit maybe one article about their mod, and that's completely fine with me

Whoops, thanks for pointing that out.
@Jonathanpb So does that mean I would be a good one?
@Lucario621 I know, but I was more active on the old one, and this one is official, so I'll try to go on more. Yesterday I went to five random pages and they all had spelling errors
