Hey guys. Jean here smile

I really see moderators as good, nice people that can help keep Scratch clean. I will be a little strict with words and phrases that may not be suitable for this website and it's members. I will do my best to keep a balance moderating every section. I love to give support to others, and I really dislike it when people post on topics just to hurt the feelings of others.

Though I don't hope I will ever have to do so, I would not be afraid to punish any Scratchers who violate the Terms of Use. I will always remember to keep a good sense of humor; I think that this is an important part in being a mod. I really would enjoy being a moderator for the Scratch Website.

If I were moderator, I would do my best to be supportive to New Scratchers, and I'd be the kind of mod that you can ask lots of questions.

I've been using Scratch long enough to come up with solutions to problems. If not, I'll give a link to a guide that was contributed to our forums; as there are lots of helpful tutorials here.

Please consider this, and Scratch On! smile

Really? I don't know exactly when my brother made this account, but he didn't post on the forums for a long while.

Hmm, it might. I don't know whether it means 6 months on the site or the forums, so I'd ask the Scratch team about that one.

The time is measured from the day you created your account on the site smile I guess it's so that the Scratch Team get to know you for long enough big_smile

Eh, Jean, I think you're still a tad new to the ways of the forums. And I, personally, don't like the idea of someone being more active just because they were elected. My idea of a good mod would be someone who helps people on Scratch without feeling inclined to.
But, you've read the ToU, right? Then you're a possibility.
