Hmmm . . . I've phased out of the Scratch Forums recently so I think I'm not even going to try for this again, what with my new desire to learn as much as I can in and out of school, I also doubt I'll have time. So, good luck those trying out this year

I was once banned.
And look at me now!
While I'm not awfully fond of the days when I was banned, I thought it was a really crucial beginning to my days on Scratch.
You were banned?

I suppose it's good I'm not running.
I tried reading through the recent posts, and I got bored... ^^
I guess I'll have to try harder. A question though... (please answer): Which would you say is more important, having the dedication to be there or the dedication to read it?![]()
Read it. Most of the time you can't tell if a topic is spam/inappropriate unless you read it. I wouldn't say I have that much time, but I do that everyday, so adding extra time to look more carefully isn't really a problem.

Add J0j2! I'm going to run! Even though I'm probably going to trip while running, I'm running anyway at the risk of smashing my face!

Yes, I believe it was in March of 2008:

What exactly is "it"?
The posts maybe?
![]()
To be honest I rarely read all the new posts now... partly because of school (less time to come online), and partly because I get bored/don't feel like reading sometimes ^^" I kind of skim for topics with interesting titles/seem to be getting a lot of posts very quickly/have reports about them/are unanswered/are stickies/iTopics/ex-stickies (which is why I'm here
)...
Hanging around reading/answering topics at leisure is my style of moderating... Scratch is a site I come to so that I can see what people are making, and generally enjoy myself. I don't really see moderating as a job/chore/whatever - it's something I do because I care about this community![]()
EDIT: Sorry if that made little coherent sense...![]()
WHEW YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
That's a HUGE comfort. I feel better... I'm still not running though. ;D

Yeah...
My opinion though is to be there; when you're there you can answer reports and at least skim a bit... but then you don't get the full caution - if I ever run I'll ensure I can read enough without getting lazy...

Aw darn, you were one of my favorite candidates in the last election, I was hoping that you would run again!
Oh well, academics is more important. No point in forcing someone to be a mod when they have other duties to attend to.

Thanks for the support cheddagirl. Maybe by winter term once I've stopped playing on two soccer teams at the same time I'll be a little more active and might try running for any elections that happen around that time

What's fun is to read this replacing mod(erator) with mod(ification)...
Anyway, I'm trying to decide whether to run or not... I do go on Scratch a fair amount, but I don't know...

Not really. I won't really describe what happened, but it was intended as a joke that my friend didn't entirely understand.

I know how that feels... I friend did that to me on an Online RPG and his other friend reported me... I got banned with at least £10 of extra content WASTED...
Anyway that was the past

So basically, "no offense, but [offense]".
