About this guide
This is my second guide on graphics and sprite making, an I want to explain some trusted ways to get good images you can tinker and edit with and then repost without breaking any rules. Also, a quick explanation of a new image creation system!

DeviantArt
This website is a haven to get brushes for PS5 and GIMP. It contains all the tutorials you need to know on how to upload brush's into the actual programs. Also, you can use other peoples graphics and like Scratch, remix them and use them anywhere - as long as you leave a message and a link -

Tutorialized
This is another great site a fell upon when a first timer for Photoshop. The web adress says it all though - it has the biggest libary ever - of tutorials for all sorts of programs. It is well know and a great place with step by step hints and even videos!

Tinypic
When you have finished making an image, you need to save it and upload it the internet if your using it for a sig on Scratch. Tinypic is simple. Upload the image and then you will recieve your adress for it wich you then stick between the correct bb codes for images!

Sounds
It's harder to find sounds to use on Scratch, but you do actually have your own libary full inside the program itself. It contains lots of great sounds catorgorised in an easy to use way. There are electronic noises, human voices and some totally random but awesome effects!

Useful Links!
www.deviantart.com - Haven for preset images!
www.tutorialized.com - Best place for tutorials.
www.tinypic.com - Go here to upload your perfections!
www.scratch.mit.edu - For the latest version of Scratch.
www.google.co.uk - Cant find it? Google it!
http://www.soungle.com/ - Royalty free sounds!

Re: Graphic Rescources | FlexiStudio

Nice guide! Although, when you talk about sound effects, are you hinting that the sound effects built into Scratch are good? Because they really aren't. The stuff in Scratch has no use. I mean, where does the sound "Doy doy doy" come in handy? "Can ya come and play?" Why would anyone use that? Try this for much better sound effects, better in quality, usablilty and range.

Thus I have spoken.

I recieved a comment like this about the Scratch Paint Editor  big_smile  Yes, theyre not good, but It is still crucial to include them in a guide about Scratch  lol

You might want to link to Scratch Resources - I believe the link is resources.scratch.mit.edu or something...  smile  Other than that - great ^^

I fall: It's a tragedy. You fall: It's comedy.
Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.
