Vote for fg123 in the Community Mod Elections! :D
Hey there! Fellow scratchers and Scratch Team!
I’m fg123 and here, I will state my reasons for running for the Scratch Community Moderator Election.
I’ve been on scratch for a long while now. About 2 years. I’m an avid forum user and poster. I am on daily and I see a lot of spam in the miscellaneous forums. I would like to help out. When I first started out, the forums were very helpful, and it still is. But, the amount of spam and useless topics are increasing by the second, as hundreds of new users pile in.
It’s become a chat room, and a place to share every second of your life on scratch. I mean, this isn’t twitter!
This is also the reason I would like to get chosen as a Scratch Community Moderator.
Here are some reasons why you should pick me:
• I’m friendly and helpful.
• I treat everyone with full and the same respect
• I help report posts and I help clean up spam.
As I see a lot of useless topics and some flaming posts, I can’t bear to just report them. I want them gone right then. So, with my moderator powers, I would also remove any spam/troll/flaming posts I find. I will keep this forum clean! 
The second to last reason why I would want to be chosen as a Moderator is because I am very active. I come on the forums every day. And literally the whole day, I am online.
And finally, the last reason why I want to be moderator is because I want to know all about new scratch things, and I also want to beta test new products that are not released to public yet. So I can make it bug-free and seamless.

You could also try resolving issues instead of just deleting/ cleaning them up.

Just use the old dart board method. You put pictures all over the wall, then throw darts and the winner is the one with the most darts.

Yeah, but that would be completely random, so it wouldn't really be accurate for picking the best-suited mods possible.

No, you worded it right, that was just a joke. I was saying saying that only some people vote like that, and that I was generally unfamiliar with the idea of voting for the best candidates like it was some weird unregular method... yeah.
