I don't read half the posts on this forum  tongue  Especially in Miscellaneous. Yet you have a far higher opinion of me than I dare say I deserve.  big_smile

Plus, moderation is a piece of cake when you get the hand of it. You don't have to scout the forums looking for bad behaviour; just respond to the reports appropriately and you're well on your way to being a wonderful moderator. Couple that with the kindness and enthusiasm that you're known for, and you'd be an awesome mod!

You might be thinking of illusionist.

Contrary to popular beleif, Dazachi is younger, I believe. At least, Lightnin seems to think so. I am fairly certain that is the case.  smile

I have.

But then again, you could read the ToU by looking over the forums and piecing together segments mods have posted.

I'm sorry, but honestly just reading the ToU doesn't make you a mod. You could read the ToU and have it not influence you whatsoever. It takes real experience and kindness to be a mod :) But that's just my opinion.

BTW here's some political music >:D http://www.scratch.mit.edu/ext/youtube/?v=rchmoqssrQw

I know wulf, I was just seeing if he's read the Terms of Use. He definitely has had experience with Scratch, and is certainly kind enough for the position. But, if he hasn't read the ToU, then thats going to put him down farther on my list (Er, whatever its called). Reading or not reading the Terms of use can say alot.

Hello, for those of you who know who I am or not, I am a rather active member, and would enjoy being a moderator.  I am supportive and friendly (most of the time) and am usually willing to give advice here or there.  I'm not sure if anyone will take notice of me in the standings, but if you do, I will be quite grateful.   big_smile    So at least spend a microsecond or more thinking about voting for me, please.
To those of you who read this to the end, I salute you.   wink

Sorry, just worried that no one noticed.

Re: Unofficial Community Moderator Election Discussion

I felt inspired by illusionist, so why not run.

Hello, I am DaGamez. You may know me, you may not. You may know I've been banned, you may not. I've gotten many warnings in the past, and then finally got a ban. But after than ban, in those 3 days I got bored, I've changed. I've went from-well, spamming with some people to helping. I've gotten to use the Text-Based-Games more, but I'd love to be a moderator here as well. I've always wanted to be moderator-Ever since the forums were created. I'm actually an '07er-But I joined in '08, got hacked in '09, joined in '09 again, quit because of cyber-bullying, then made this account. Don't worry about the 6-month limit to run-Months ago I emailed the ScratchR with another account I made in February or so, before I made this one, so that's okay.
But ever since I've been banned I've started to help, and not spam. I now post larger posts, as you may have seen on the TBGs in RPGs, or even some topics where you're only supposed to put, "I win". I'm sure many of you dislike me, maybe even hate me, and maybe some of you like me, but shouldn't you vote for who'd be better, not who you like most?
I won't get my hopes up, as I'm sure I won't get to be a candidate, but please consider voting for me  wink

Re: Unofficial Community Moderator Election Discussion

Hi, I am SSSS, some people have heard of me, and others haven't.  I am running to be a mod because i feel that i am a responsible person, who, given a chance, could be a great moderator of the scratch forums.  I try and help people, and am polite when posting.  I try not to post spam topics and like to help others.  I feel, if you vote for me, i could help keep the scratch forums a polite and orderly place.  I came in 2007 and have posted over 500 posts to help out people mostly, and to request help with projects
