I dislike the fact that there's now a 3rd Fire / Fighting type starter, but the only fire type starter I've ever got is Charmander. I'm definitely going with grass type, as the grass type final evolution is just about the only Pokemon I really like so far out of this generation (Apart from Zekrom, as he's clearly epic win)
