To be honest I rarely read all the new posts now... partly because of school (less time to come online  ), and partly because I get bored/don't feel like reading sometimes ^^" I kind of skim for topics with interesting titles/seem to be getting a lot of posts very quickly/have reports about them/are unanswered/are stickies/iTopics/ex-stickies (which is why I'm here  )...

Hanging around reading/answering topics at leisure is my style of moderating... Scratch is a site I come to so that I can see what people are making, and generally enjoy myself. I don't really see moderating as a job/chore/whatever - it's something I do because I care about this community

Eh, that isn't that much of a selling point to me. Just be on about 1 hr a day average at least is good enough to be a good mod (though the more the better). More importantly is being a good role model and understanding how to treat the community kindly  .

Yeah, all those things are important. You be a good role model and know how to treat the community, but only have like 20 minutes a day to be here, so that couldn't work. And you could be on here all day, but insult a lot of other users and mishandle problems, so a user like that probably wouldn't get electted either.
I really just came up with that after there were all those threads about people saying they wouldn't be here as often. I did say personally, so feel free to disagree with me 

Yeah, you have a point. However I don't know that many people who use the forums enough to know about the mod election who spend less than half an hour on the computer xD. Nevertheless, you are right.

No, this is just a thread for questions/discussion about the moderator elections. There will be a separate thread for voting and such.

So then the list of candidates in the first post should be deleted.

No, the new thread should just be named differently.

Thanks.    I really wish I could because I really like Scratch and I want to help out more, but I'm so busy. If I ever get less busy, I'll probably run, but that won't happen any time soon (or ever). Anyway, thanks for the support. You make me happy. 

Actually, I randomly feel inspired after illusionist got banned and then got to be moderator. I got banned and I'm sure they won't put me as a candidate, but eh. I've changed, for the better. Maybe if I show it I could be moderator. Anyways, I won't get my hopes up.
