Have there been any decisions regarding when the next version will be released or what new features it might include?
My daughter (6) has been advancing nicely with her experimentation in scratch. She's interested in doing things that would require either massive interations of sprites (IMHO bad) or array structure.
I'm working with her now to develop a way of producing scalable fonts/text and a hashing method for creating strings but this would be *much* easier if it were built into the language.

We are still deciding on what will be included in the next version of Scratch. It is likely it will have some kind of data structure. The new version should be available before the end of the year.
