Travel Network - Watch fat people eat - whilst traveling
Animal Planet - Humans are animals to, so we can show this
TeenNick - OMG, he like TTLY, like, OMG
History Channel - History, to people from the distant future

Okay, no opinions against types of music and shows.

This stuff is pretty much the habits of channels. TeenNick shows Degrassi, Animal Planet is mainly about humans with small animal element, Travel is about watching people eat exotic foods, and history is mainly future stuff.
