Re: Kids TV shows these days...

I watched the first episode of that big time rush show, and it wasn't that bad. It was funny at some parts, like when the fat guy was angry, but the songs are just horrible
They said turd like ten times in a song, and that's on my words to erase from the universe list
I'll continue later, I have class right now

I am a huge trekkie now, especially because Star Trek (original) explores a lot of interesting social and racial themes and is more thoughtful and interesting then these violent, brain rotting and annoying cartoons.

lol  I had to watch all the original ones, and I liked it at first... but I hated it because:

• So much swaggering
• Kirk thinks he's the hottest person on Earth
• They speak rubbish ("...and this will set the volume to one to the fourth power!")
• I hate Kirk (he walks like he's so great, RAHHHHHHHHHHH)
• And more  tongue

See, I share EXACTLY THE SAME HATREDS! But I think it's funny because Kirk is just sooooo full of himself. But I'm a McCoy fangirl. Bones is my love.  big_smile

And a little more, the sci-fi element is interesting in terms of trying to decipher, but you have to realize, this is set 300 years in the future...in the 60's, lol!

My favorite 2 episodes?
1. Plato's stepchildren (a good reason: KIRK SLAPS HIMSELF!)
2. Gamesters of Triskelion (My awesome reason: KIRK GETS SHOCKED WITH A DOGGY COLLAR!)

Re: Kids TV shows these days...

Adventure Time: Strongly agreed.
Fanboy & Chum-Chum: Kind of stupid, but entertaining sometimes.
iCarly: It's okay. Sometime's okay for slightly good laughs. But it gets annoying often.
Dude What Would Happen: Strongly agreed!
Victorious: Baaaaadddd. But not as bad as Adventure Time.
Big Time Rush: Better than Adventure Time, but worse than Victorious.
Total Drama World Tour: I disagree with you on this. I agree that the first season was hilarious. And I was disapointed in Total Drama Action, but I still love it. And the third season was great!

My opinions on JOJ2's comments. Haven't seen the rest.

In my opinion, most TV is junk. There seem to be very few shows I actually enjoy watching.

Sadly most of those shows are so bad, it's difficult to watch them to criticize them! Lol. Name some shows and I'll beat the animation out of them, hehe.

They are actually so bad it's hard to describe what's bad about them. Everyone knows 4kids shows are horrible, but they are so horrible that no one can describe what makes them bad. I personally liked Kirby Right Back At Ya and Viva Pinata. I think VP is the best show ever since Fox Box was dubbed "4kids"

Re: Kids TV shows these days...

Adventure Time: I never got to see it since we lost our TV channels before the show actually aired. But from the clips I've seen it looks really stupid.

Fanboy & Chumchum: I hate this show. This and Brain Drain drain my brain. XD

iCarly: Even though it's a really stupid show, it has alot of humor with my brother and my inside jokes, because most of them are made with horrible humor on purpose, so we like watching it together.

Dude What Would Happen: As the comic book guy would say, "Worst. Show. EVER."

Destroy Build Destroy: I only saw it once and can't remember much about it, it was pretty stupid though.

Victorious: I actually liked this. Kind of. It's owned by the people who did iCarly, so the humor is similar. I think that puppet is obnoxious though.

Big Time Rush: It's stupid. I hate it. Not just because it's just to make yes another show about "hot" rock stars, just the fact the humor stinks, the script stinks, and the acting stinks.

Total Drama World Tour: I never really saw any of the TD shows, but when I did they were really stupid in my opinion.

Scooby doo: Mystery incorperated made me want to CRY. I'm a fan of the ORIGINAL scooby-doos, and some of the newer movies. (The cartoon ones before SD:MI, and the non-cartoon ones) When i watched SD:MI, I thought "*?! WHERE ARE THEIR PUPILS?! WHERE IS The ACTUAL HIMOR?! WHAY AM I WATCHING THIS UGLY PIECE OF CRAPOLA?!

I really want to review Scooby-doo mystery incorporated, but I haven't watched it. That will be on my list. I know what you mean. I know what it's like to love a TV show and have something new be made of it. *coughStarTrekcough*

Adventure Time: Strongly agreed.
Fanboy & Chum-Chum: Kind of stupid, but entertaining sometimes.
iCarly: It's awesome on a good episode, but they repeat the same ones and I don't really like the ones they do repeat. often, the Spencer side-plot that only gets five minutes is better than the 15 minute normal plot.
Dude What Would Happen: This is actually pretty cool. And not mythbusters except for blowing stuff up.
Victorious: I've seen one funny episode.
Big Time Rush: Good for a laugh sometimes, but rarely.
Total Drama World Tour: This stuff makes no sense. There was a cook like a dragon who pooped an egg in one episode I saw.
Suite Life Of Zack And Cody: Pretty good, but earlier episodes are better. And their not rich.
Based on Sandude's. Tell me if I missed any because I've seen them all except Yu-Gi-Oh.

EDIT: Unquoted sandude, because I was just using his base.
