I wrote this in WordPad and thwn pasted it here.

The Hippopotamus in Room 27

                    Chapter 1

    One day, two teenagers named Mike and Jake were wandering around at the zoo. They lived in an apartment. They were happy to see all of their favorite animals again. "I wish that we could be here every day!", said Jake. Suddenly, it starting raining. "We should get out of here," said Mike. They got in their parent's car and quickly drove away. They had good vision, so they looked out of the window. They noticed that some of the animal's cages flooded. After they got home, they turned on the television to watch the news. "Hopefully you all have good homes, because the rain is pouring outside," said the reporter. It was raining so hard that they lost electricity. "What should we do?", asked Mike. "Well, we could go to the public pool," said Jake. "Don't you remember that the public pool is closed on Mondays?", asked Mike. "Today is Monday?", asked Jake. "It is Monday. Look at the calendar," said Mike. Mike was right -- it is Monday! The worst day of the week! "Oh! That's must be why it's raining so hard!", said Jake. Meanwhile, at the zoo, some of the cages flooded so much that they broke open and the animals came flying out. At the time, the zookeepers were locked inside their house because they lost power and their door has an electric lock, so they couldn't fix their animal problem. Within one hour, most of the animals broke out of their cage and scattered thoughout town. The power came back on and it stopped raining. Without knowing anything about the animal problem, they cheered. The animals ran faster, looking for a place to stay at. The hippopotamus eventually found Mike and Jake's house.

EDIT: Only one spelling mistake. Also, this just randomly came into my mind.
