Default Saving Location

I am a Network Administrator for thousands of computers in a huge Education domain. We are trying to use Scratch however the default saving location is in the root of the profile?

Why isn't the default saving location My Documents? Saving in the root of the profile means students lose their files on logoff as we use mandatory roaming profiles. If we used local profiles it would be the same issue as users roam around.

Is there a quick fix for this? I have about 10,000 computers I have to patch asap.

Thanks
Lara

Re: Default Saving Location

There is a quick solution. but i'm not sure how to apply this to 10 thousand computers at once  tongue
in the Scratch.ini settings file you should be able to add a line which sets the default saving location (which by default is a folder called Scratch Projects).

if you give me a second i'll look for it

Re: Default Saving Location

We have the same problem at our school. Goto My Computer -> N Drive Then you can save in your documents, thats what we had to do!
