You know, I've done something like this before (just not the freezer part).

To try something interesting: there's a short time frame between when the marshmallow is still pliable and when it hardens. Try mixing in some candy (I like M&Ms) into the marshmallow after you have microwaved it.

Nope. I just ate it, and it didn't taste very different at all. It was just crunchy(ish) in the center, and cold.

Really? How big was the marshmallow when you took it out of the microwave? How long was it in the freezer? It's supposed to be crunchy, but there should also have been a significantly different taste than normal...

I didn't measure it or anything o_O How long was it in the freezer?Well, it was in for three minutes too long, but that probably didn't affect anything. It's supposed to be crunchy, but there should also have been a significantly different taste than normal... Freezing something hardly ever makes the taste significantly different
