Oh. I have to get the TDAP for 7th grade in week. It stinks. (BTW: The booster shot really actually hurts. It feels like someone's pinching you with the tips of a butterknife.)
That's why I always request to get the vaccine sprayed up my nose.

Why must you keep posting that category of information?!

I'm not actually mad at you, you know.Sometimes when they do the surgery, they take out too much, and the eye flattens like a deflating ball and squirts everywhere. Not a pretty sight.

I don't like shots much. I always look when their injecting it, because doctors make me VERY suspicious...

When I was younger, not by that much, I went to the doctor to get a shot. When I got into the room and the lady started trying to inject it, I started screaming and fighting and then I ran from the room saying " I'll never get a shot" and hid behind a chair in the hallway...

Well, some medical treatments just work more better when inserted intravenously (in the bloodstream) than others. Intravenous injection is usually more direct so it's good when it is needed to spread through the bloodstream quickly; ingestion (think swallowing pills) results in slower absorption, so it's used in cases where medicine is to be released and absorbed slowly. There's obviously more ways to deliver medical drugs into the body, based on what is to be treated.
