Darnit, those furry little heartbreakers! D:

- sniff - My second oldest cat died yesterday, of hyperthyroidism*. He was 17.3 years old. His name was Fuzzer. D: Why do cats and dogs make us love them, then break our hearts? D:

*Look it up.

:C I'm sorry to hear that. I had all my cats die of kidney failure.

Unfortunately, death is a part of life, and we just have to get around with it.

Fuzzer will be dearly missed  sad

It's worse for me.
I'm allergic to cats.
If I'm by one for a long time (probably 15 - 30 minutes) I start acting up really bad.

Yeah, he knew he was dying. He did it how Squeaker did - he walked up to my dad, then my mom, then walked over to his blanket and laid down. He liked catnip so we buried a sprig with him, plus some rosemary*, pine*, and oak*.

RIP Fuzzer, the old cream cat who got brown instead of gray. (He got a brown spot on his head instead of gray at the muzzle)

OMG, same here!

I have some reactions to pet hair (red eyes and sneezing, not anything too serious), so my mom won't allow cats and dogs in my house  hmm .

Sorry you lost your pet  sad .

I'm sorry D: I know how hard it is to lose a pet. :T Everytime I start talking about my ferret, I end up crying. And when she fell out the window and no one could find her....I kept having dreams about her. :C

Ah, losing a pet can be pretty hard  hmm  My parents said they aren't going to be getting any more pets that we become very attached to, since it's so hard when they "leave", so I'll probably get a gold fish or something (A dog faced puffer, probably  lol ). We really want a dog (EVERYONE in my house; My aunt, my dad, my sisters, even my Grandparents.. And we're all willing to take care of him), but my mom claims to be allergic. She isn't, though  roll

Re: Darnit, those furry little heartbreakers! D:

I know your pain. I have had cats die.  sad

I had Nala. She lived to be 14 1/2. She died May 7th. She had some thyroid problem since she was a kitten. She had gotten arthritis and was blind in both eyes before she died.

And Sally. She died at 3 months.  sad   sad   sad  We don't know why she died. I suspect she chased a poisonous snake.
