I keep getting comments on my gobo + scratch = gotch project in my messages but most of them don't show up... is this me or the scratch website hmm

I often get notifications of a message, yet when I go to the project there is nothing there. I figure the person deleted the message after posting it.

Wait... you know the comment thing where you might not be able to post comment if you post it too many times? It might be that! My lightbulb just turned on tongue

Sometimes the replies at levels farther back are hidden and only get shown if you know which of your comments to expand (which, of course, you don't, that's why I keep expanding each comment until if find the reply I'm looking for...)

Yes this happens to me to often. Its probable someone either spamming, saying awesome! cool! or something like that and getting the message that they posted a similiar message recently.

Sorry, I was referring to messages about replies to your comments. For each comment you can 'hide/show all replies'. By default only the comments and the first level of replies are shown. If there is a reply to a reply you will be notified about this by getting a message, but you'll have a hard time actually finding that new reply (at least I do).

I believe you only get a message if one of your comments is replied too, but if someone elses comment is replied to, no message.
