Different people have different tastes. I personally prefer metal as a genre, except when you start going into the subgenres which are mainly screaming or growling.

I used to like SOAD, but then I gave them up when I developed my hatred for cussing. There songs have good meanings though. Anyway...

Why do u hate them because they cuss?!!?

Those kind of people really annoy me. Why are some words worse than others, anyway? They are all the same; a random combination of letters! Why are for some reason, some combinations worse than others? They're both words!

IMO, curse words are fine if they're not used as insults, like as in "[some curse word], I hit my head".

I won't bother doing this but here's some of my fave artists:

Metal: Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Metallica, Rammstein, RATM, Skid Row, Slayer.
Hard and Classic Rock: AC/DC, Aerosmith, GnR, Heroes del Silencio, Los Prisioneros, Queen, Van Halen.
Also Muse and Blink 182, alternative and pop punk respectively.
