Forum FAQ for new scratchers.

This is an FAQ for new scratchers to read to get a basis on forum rules.

Q: Why cant i post a signature?
A: You need to have 15 days in your scratch account to have a signature

Q: What's the point of the 10 minute rule?
A: Only new scratchers have this restraint so spam can be avoided.

Q: Can you be banned?
A: If you break the rules, yes.

Q: What are the rules?
A: No spamming, flaming, trolling or swearing.

Q: Why can't I use the Miscellaneous forums?
A: New scratchers are not allowed to use the Miscellaneous forums because spamming wants to be avoided from people who do not quite know forum rules.

Q: How do I become a mod?
A: To become a community moderator, you must be nominated, and then must be voted in.

Q: How do i become a normal scratcher?
A: You must be on scratch for a certain amount of days. Sorry, but I'm not sure.

Q: Can I have multiple accounts?
A: You may, but be careful. If one is in trouble, all others on that same network will be penalized as well.

Q: Is the forum fun and helpful?
A: YES!  big_smile

I hope this helps all new scratchers! If i missed anything i apologize. Again, i hope this is helpful! Thank you!

Re: Forum FAQ for new scratchers.

Nice - it covers just about anything, and it's not too massive-wall-of-text-ish.

You might want to correct the typo on the 4th word in, though  wink

Thank you - this is a useful guide. This site seems relatively safe, relatively because no site on the internet is truly safe. I think I can permit my son to use it.

This site is one of the safest on the web, in my opinion. The moderators try their best to keep the site as safe as possible. We quickly respond to reports (with such a large moderating team) and work as hard as possible to remove any bad activity. If you find any, please let us know so we can get rid of it.

Of course. After I give my son this account, I'm sure he will.

I fall: It's a tragedy. You fall: It's comedy.
Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.
