Re: Fix Teh Remixing Glitch!!!!!!!!!!

What they do is save it, then close scratch, then reopen the project and upload.

Yeah... it's most likely not a glitch at all. Just flag the projects - take the time to be informative, that way the Scratch Team doesn't mistake your flag for remix dislike.

Re: Fix Teh Remixing Glitch!!!!!!!!!!

I definitely noticed this glitch when I remixed your "lines." project... I don't think I saved it between download and upload...  hmm

Re: Fix Teh Remixing Glitch!!!!!!!!!!

That happened to me once. The copied project was the EXACT same as mine, only the sprites were repainted.
And there was no "Based off Survivorduck's project" at the bottom of the project...

Maybe you could make a project saying "Please dont plaigirize my projects" or something like that... but that might also cause some drama.  sad

Re: Fix Teh Remixing Glitch!!!!!!!!!!

One time someone uploaded an exact copy of one of my projects... I told the user to actually edit the project or remove it - if not, I would flag it. Then I got a reply like "HOW DO I DELETE PROJECTS!!!  yikes   yikes   yikes ".  tongue

If one of your projects gets plagarized, don't flag it immediately - ask the project owner to edit the project or remove it first. If they don't do something - flag it.

Well, there has been some problems with the remix system (like this one here); perhaps this might hint towards a bug in the remix chain.

How about we post projects that we are sure are being remixed but not showing up? This would make it easier for the admins to detect if something is wrong in the remix system.  smile
