Really Random Idea for a board

I just got a really crazy idea.

Maybe if it is possible to make a board that runs a scratch-made operatin system, and it could run on a PC. My team and I are planning out a game console, and are wondering if that will actually work.

Just a random idea.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
