Thanks guys.
Obviously the idea is not quite yet cemented. Any more feedback and/or support before I pitch this idea on the suggestions page is very much appreciated.

I was thinking that, too, but I'm still wondering about making this list semi-public as a way to make users more visible (see here). Or maybe that should be another suggestion in itself. I'll probably end up suggesting it by next week, if anything.

great idea! i think that people shouldn't be notified if you are just "watching" them because then they might feel bad that you don't consider them a friend. maybe if we get the customizable user pages there can be a section for "Who I'm Watching" (ps- if these have already been suggested here sorry. i didn't read all the comments )

I believe I mentioned some kind of function that allows to see who is watching who (I'll have to do some comment digging to find it, but I'm sure it's there... somewhere. ).

it would also be cool if we could arrange users in ABC order so they can be easier to find if you have a big friends list.
