It should but the question is: Is there a limit on the amount of times that the amount of views can be bumped by someone that isn't logged in?

It seems there isn't any protection against offline view bumping. But, there seems to be a timeout so I think there is protection against what I asked somewhat.

I'm pretty sure that it adds one unique view per IP/user. Or maybe it's per IP, I don't know for sure.

That's my guess. A lot of sites that allow you to rank content use that sort of system now.

yeah sometimes I get tons of views but hardly any comments or love-its. Maybe it's from non-users views.
