Scratch

the ability to type is hard to create on scratch. i think there should be a whole new block section for typing.

first of all, there should be little lines that people can place anywhere on there projects similiar to sprites that set where the player is allowed to type.


also, there could be such blocks as:

[if (blank) typed, broadcast (blank)]

[if (blank) typed, ect.]

[set R to (cant type) for (blank) seconds]

(cant type meaning that you are restricted from typing that letter)

[if (blank) typed, autotype (blank)]

and so on. Also, type lines would be similiar to sprites in that you can set them to move, change size, and so on. perhaps also,  you could change the color of one part of the type line, and if you type up to that part of the line, the type changes to that color.
