Hi!
I just wanted to say hello. I am a programmer (Java mainly), and I have a son who is in the first grade at school. Now I had the idea to offer a programming course for the 3rd and 4th graders. I am looking forward to finding a lot of great ideas for the lessons here
Cheers!

You might want to look under ScratchED, a website dedicated for the educators of scratch. You should be able to find some lessons there.
URL: http://scratched.media.mit.edu/
Have fun teaching scratch and learning about it yourself too!

Oh I'm having fun with it already. But it's quite a lot of work to get some lessons put together. Thank you for the link. I already found that site and it is just great! I hope I'll soon be able to add my experience, too

I great thing to look at for relatively simple things is the Scratch Cards page. http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Support/Scratch_Cards

Welcome! I haven't got to use these forums much myself (still being a "New Scratcher") but I've liked them so much so far, I'm sure you will too!

My school has Scratch installed on the computers and we had a few quick run downs there. If your looking to help, check out ScratchED and contribute ideas to the forums
Welcome anyway
