Next time it happens, which it might I will get a image of it and post it on the forums.
As I was programming a little project I was working on for fun, I decided to edit one of the stages. When I opened the paint editor it was fine. I used the square tool and that's when the problems started. All of the text that I had typed up on scratch had disappeared (including sprite and stage names) and from there on out scratch was un-editable. I had to restart scratch to fix that glitch.
Thankfully, I saved my project just before that happened but I am posting this so that it won't happen to someone in the future. If I hadn't of saved my project it would of been gone forever. Which is why I encourage to save every 5 minutes to prevent anything like this from erasing your hard work.
Has anyone ever gotten this glitch?
Computer Information:
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7600
Scratch Version: 1.4
Hardware Specification: 3 gigahertz processor. 1 gigabyte of ram.

I noticed it seems to happen with the square tool under the paint editor.
Can someone else please test this so I can confirm it's a legitimate glitch?

There is already a thread on this.

It's the Disappearing Text Bug!
Grr, we all hate it.
It's so well-known and common that the Scratch Wiki has an article on it. Read the article!
Try discussing the bug in the topic that mathematics has linked to.

That reminds me to add a image to the wiki showing the Disappearing Text Bug.
I especially hate it when it makes my scratch project almost impossible to make, because it continues to pop-up one minute apart from the last time.
I guess I'll have to deal with it.
