Anyway, as samurai768 stated before, the message is from Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Being a horror story survival game, I'm not surprised the game's designers would design the game to reflect the player's actions. I wonder how closely it is related to the original Silent Hill story.

I just looked it up, apparently the only changes made according to the players' actions were graphical or aural, as in it had no effect on normal gameplay, but the feel was a bit different depending on if you were "good" or "bad".

As for the Silent Hill story, I don't know much about that so I have no idea if this one remains loyal. : D
