I Caught A Shiny Ursaring!!!

ISH GWEEEEEEN!!!! GWEEEEEEEN!!!!!!!!!!


i caught it yesterday in mt. silver cave  smile  i think the chance of running into a shiny  are 15000, in 1 or something like that.

And congrats! All I've found is a shiny Zigzagzoon (caught), a shiny Girafarig (ran away in safari zone  sad  ), a shiny Goldeen (caught), a shiny Graveler (fainted  sad  ), and Red Gyarados.

And I got traded a shiny tropius and hacked myself a shiny Spiritomb  big_smile

And I'm trying to catch a shiny Arceus in a computer game.

Congratulations. The first shiny I got in any pokemon game besides the Gyarados was a fearow. After a wopping total 2000+ hours on all my pokemon games up to that point. Then I found shiny's every 30-60 hours of game play after that. My favourites are.

My first shiny was a Spearow. I caught it on that little island thing behind One Island in Fire Red.

It was a good 6 years ago ( a few months after Fire Red came out) and my young mind was like "OMG I discovered a glitch!! OMG!" so, I caught it and didn't know what to make of it. Until I realized it wasn't a glitch but just extremely rare. Then I felt like I was so cool, showing it off to my friends and stuff.

There I go rambling on again xD

Lol, once? True. In the older games it was all luck, now it's a formula with the wild Pokemon's stats and values.

But there are some methods you can do to catch a shiny. The most popular is the Pokeradar method. You can see how to chain shinies in this video:

i have a shiny shaymin(land form) and a shiny mew on my platinum. i traded them to myself from the previous persons game when i got it used. they probably hacked or something, but what do i care? now i got pokemon both shiny, AND rare!  big_smile
