A couple of suggestions for the next version of Scratch. :P

1.) Add another octave to the notes in Sound. Please. It would be helpful to people who want to share music or musical instrument simulators. I am not the only one...
2.) Add the option "Hide list." That way, it won't be such a hassle to make Inventories for RPG games, because they won't occupy space until you need them.
Two is a couple.  tongue

There are infinite octaves in the sound blocks, you just need to put a higher or lower number into the input. You're not limited to the keyboard that it shows.

1. You can already get pretty much any octave possible. You know how when you click a note on that piano, it changes it to a number? Just add or subtract 12 to get to a new octave.
2. Do you mean show/hide list blocks? They've confirmed those for the next release.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

I agree  smile , It would be nice to have more notes and being able to hide a list.

did you read my post? There are infinite notes! You just need to type in the number instead of using the keyboard.

I agree - and it would be great to be able to change thr octave of the visual keyboard. While you can get unlimited octaves right now, I find a visual representation quite useful because I'm not sure how the keys are numbered.

Since it's MIDI there are actually just 128 notes, that's roughly 10 octaves and a half. [/geek]

Anyway, what hmnwilson said. and show/hide lists will most probably be added since we've bothered the Scratch Team too much with that  tongue

I think the point is that it's time consuming to continuously visualize a longer keyboard; more notes to click would be a great a help.  smile
