Matches my taste pretty well. I also enjoy the "Pirates of the Caribbean" sound track a lot

I don't listen to music while traveling, and I listen mostly to metal and I'm not sure if you'd like to hear that while traveling, lol. Actually, I like move soundtrack music (I have the soundtrack to various titles [like i]Shrek[/i], Star Wars, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, and Spirited Away). Game soundtrack music, too. 

The only thing is that I once tried putting soundtrack music on my MP3 player - from past experience, soundtrack music never really sounds so good in the subway because of outside noise (soft sounds are overshadowed by the moving train, even in the supposed new air-streamlined subway cars).

I agree with you there- I used to listen to Harry Potter soundtracks while walking home from school, but I couldn't hear the quiet parts and the loud parts were overpowering. However, for non-travel purposes, or during less intensive travel, I would highly, highly recommend the third Harry Potter soundtrack. It's the nest of the series by far and is really unlike any other soundtrack available. The first and second can be rather bland but are quite original, especially the start of the first, the fourth is quite loud an intense, so it may actually be fit for travel, but I don't find the majority of it all that great compared to some of the other soundtracks. It almost sounds like a normal soundtrack    The fifth is incredibly boring, and the sixth is OK.

Ah, probably for road trips then, they're usually quite quiet. 

Non-Harry-Potterwise, in terms of soundtracks I would recommend the first Back to the Future soundtrack.

Would this suggestion also be for less intensive and quiet trips as well?
