Img Tags: Must read!
Don't you absolutly hate it when your [img][/img] tags turn into [url][/url] tags?! I do, to! 
When it happens:
When you quote a post with an image in it.
Ex:
The original...
If you want to display an image you can use the img tag.
[img]http://www.punbb.org/img/small_logo.png[/img] produces 
...turns into:
BBCode Help Page wrote:

See what I mean?

Anyway, yes, I think this is a bother, but at the same time it helps to save space. You can always change the to [img][/img]. Or click the link, for that matter.
Retired from Scratch, but just the language itself. Not the forums.

Check your forum preferences...I think there is a setting in there that lets you choose between links and inline images.
EDIT: Yep, go to Profile>Display and make sure "show images in posts" is checked.

I think the poster meant that when the image is quotes it turns into a link. I don't find it all that annoying; in fact, I quite like it

I think this problem is intentional - otherwise quoting posts with large images would get crazy. So they still give you the image - but it doesn't show up as one.

Ohhh... But oddly, I used to get <image> links everywhere until I stumbled across that option. Now I sometimes see images in posts I think.
