Here is another big topic: scrolling! since scrolling is so popular, I made a project that uses easier code than most other scrolling projects. It even allows the user to design their own levels! also, since there is no player sprite, it allows for huge potential. How about my project secret (the code is flashy). I think it is a good demo project to help people understand scratch. Also my virtual aquarium (it is totally different then the one you already have) is a very good project to show the potential of scratch, though it is quite big.

Hey andres, I personally think my game Garage Band 1.0 would be great for new scratchers to learn about projects with sound and simple sensoring. It also uses the stamp effect, so it teaches them about pens/stamping, sensors, motion, and sounds. Here is a link to the project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/newareagle/195426.

Note: I would suggest my Guitar Hero 3 - Inside the fire game, which is currently top loved and top viewed, but it has a song that like you said is not created by me or scratch. Otherwise, it probably is one of my best games!

what kind of category does my project, "how long is a minute (60 seconds)?" (link to project) would go in? I think it would be a very simple project to add because of its two scripts:

you should use my project "lol cat": http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/dogbloos/209996 for animation. its simple but funny. I also think you should use my project "nature" : http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/dogbloos/207403 for simulation. its a somewhat advanced simulation of nature. finally, i think you should use hazelleafkitty's "please read if you really care":http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/hazelleafkitty/195337 for speak up.
