Have you seen this man? -art critique-

...I haven't seen him either...

But ANYWAY, I was just playing around with Gimp and look what I came up  yikes

Ok, not only is the line art terrible, but the shading feels choppy...
...and it's photobucket doesn't agree with my original size of 1600x200  tongue

Any thoughts? What do you think? Discuss.

What's your FIRST thought that comes to mind?

...lol that last part is gonna get some really weird things :p

Nice shading, but the lips look funny.

My first thought was that he had an oddly shaped head, and that all of his facial features seem to be shifted to the side, and I wondered why he was looking up.

The shading looks mostly good, except around the eyes. And his nose is a little weird.  tongue  But overall, it's pretty good.  big_smile

I made ANOTHER one! (took like 4 hours  yikes )
This time it's a tarsier (photo-referenced  tongue )

The first version is my original, the second I modified to look more 'cute'... or hypnotic, I can't tell...

If you want to make the tarsier more cute, make the pupils larger.  smile
