So what is this mysterious evil, anyway? And why's it in the bow?

Re: Memoria RPG:

I hope throughthefire is okay with this, so here is my adaptation of the intro to make a story.

Your character was an ace pilot taking you and your friends on a private jet on vacation. You fly over a strange island off the coast of the bermuda triangle when your plane goes down and crashes into the island. You find a small city (called Memoria) of other people who have crashed here. Your objective is to help everyone including yourself off the island and back home. You take missions from them to get money to fix your airplane, and get off of the island! How's that  tongue

You have two friends, One named Rick and the other is named Sarah. You are whoever you want to be xD

Re: Memoria RPG:

It's OK, but what kind of government is there? And how would anyone in the city know how to fix the airplane? If they did, they would have fixed their own airplanes and flown the heck outta there.

Maybe the pilot died and only you know how to fix the airplane  tongue  I bet it's just a group of people who get along together. It's not that important right now xD

Re: Memoria RPG:

I can script not bad, but I suck at sprites. I was thinking maybe a Aeroplane Fixing Progress variable, and a sprite representing the inventory(believe me, lists are really ugly). I can make weapons(tell me what era, though; swords or nukes?), armor, characters, classes, enemies, features, pets, blah blah blah, and I can make an incredible final boss, with minions and ginormous tentacles. Although you'll have to sprite and partly script it.

Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.

Re: Memoria RPG:

I'm good with spriting, and I got some of the scripting down. So you want to help? That would be great  smile  There isn't really going to be a boss, but there is going to be enemies and quests. You could still make one though.

Re: Memoria RPG:

@ Helltank

If you would like to do something, you could make the maps (which I will give you) into four way scroller thingys. That would be awesome.

How about the longer you stay on the island the more of your memory you lose?

Weeeeelll... There's going to be a save option. This isn't going to be a small game. There will probably be 20 missions.

Don't reset variables unless they say yes to a question about restarting when they open  and have them save the project. Done

... Or I could use the saving system of codes.

Re: Memoria RPG:

Heres a story a bet you havent heard a million times being told by nintendo
there are 3 people one called Larrio and the other mugi, and a princess but the princess gets kidnapped by a dragon called drowser and you have to jump through a 2d world saying in a dodgey italien accent "its a me a lario" while chasing the dragon and then at the end you get her back and take her back to your crib.
What do you think , it quite original really

(the only reason i wrote this because im rubbish at writing  scripts)

But that would make it very linear.

Yes, but there would be a certain place you have to get to to get the codes, so you have to do the exact stuff to save so the storyline doesn't really change at all.

No, you add a part to the code like 4false or something like that and it would open it to that spot.

PS: Since school has started I have started working slower on this project. But it shall be done  tongue
