I feel that the fetured system on the scratch website doesnt work properly. I think that we should keep love its so we can still award the auther our thanks so he can still see that people enjoyed his project. But i think we should also have a unsung heros button as well, which people can only press once a mounth to which ever project they feel doesnt get the attention it deserves .Because they can only press it once a mounth that means that they will put more consideration into what the choose to guive it to. ontop of that people who have never got to the front page before get double points per each vote that they obtain so that they can have a better chance of getting on the front page, this would also require anouther segment called unsung heros on the main page so that the people who are usaly featured would have nothing to loose and this way evrybody wins.
BTW
Sorry about an early copy of my idea being confusing.

Yikes! Punctuation, please? It makes things so much easier to read.
I don't really understand your idea. You'd need to elaborate more, and most of what you suggested sounds like it wouldn't really work. It's really not all that different than the love it feature.

Thanks. It actually really adds a lot to your post and makes you seem much more credible. I do see your point; it would give everyone the chance to curate a bit. (Since the point if curators is to get good projects seen.) a month seems a bit too long though. A lot of good unrecognized projects could go by in that time.

Well what about evry week then or something like that.
Then we can have a vote at the end of the week from the top 10 and turn it into the x-factor or american idle if you live in america (jokeing).

Well, there are tons of users to see that project.
Good idea! How about it has to have less than 200 views, 15 remixes, and 75 love its. It should also have to be older than 2 weeks.

Sounds good but i would maby change it to 250 veiws and no limet on remixes, and projects with a high percentage of love its and a certain amount of veiws normally get featured. and the age limet is a bad idea because if a project doesnt get noticed when it comes out then it wont get noticed at all.

Not true. What if a popular user uploaded a project? At first it would have less than 200 views, and people could unfairly promote it this way. Also, 200 views is a fine limit. I think a proect with 200 views would be fairly well recognized, don't you?

Aren't curators already told to be cautious about that?
I can't remember.
