Neat! I love the "user bio." 

Make a user page look like a YouTube channel. (like mine)

• Choose either Center or Tile for your background image

• Make that huge box where a video you want to feature goes(Choose a favourite, make it so it displays{and toggle on and off autoplay} your most recently uploaded project, or a specific one of your projects).

Scratch should work EXACTLY how YouTube does, hands down. If not, ask Google and YouTube Inc. to redesign Scratch for ya. It has to be like this. It's perfect. I thought of it, but it's perfect. PERFECT, I TELL YOU! PERFECT!

I'm nearly done with a presentation project, where I comment and build on other's ideas, and show this mockup in action.
 
Here's a few chosen frames as a preview.
It needs to be easy to figure out, without an explanation anyway.  So here you go:

Please let me know if it makes sense to you or not. Hopefully the presentation will help, you'll see the mouse movements and the missing frames.

Spoiler alert:
The point is that you can see what the user made and likes at a glance.  The list can be sorted through with the labels by clicking them off and on. 

I'll be back Monday or so; just needed to get this out.

I want to see all of this. The uploading pics. would be like (you upload a picture) then one of the mods has to approve it, then if it passes you an have it.

In the full sequence, the featured project starts as another one.  But yeah, a help feature is a good idea.

Good idea!  Perhaps also show other info, like: views, comments, date of upload; other added tags; If it's a sprite: how many scripts & costumes it has.  If a sound: how long it is. etc...

Yeah, that may be good...
I'm just concerned because it would limit what is shown at first... users may be less likely to look for things they like out of what you make/like.  (I think the ability to star, favorite or "sticky" things to top of pages may fill that need.)

and/or perhaps on the bio automatically make links-- So that when they say "I like cats", "cats" becomes a link that changes the list to just show "cat" content. (it may be best to enforce singular tags?)
and/or have a list of "my top lists" that the user can add to or change, for more complicated searches like "cat + game projects by others"

There are some great discussions with a lot of constructive feedback going here. I can see you are starting to get into the hard work of designing. It's fun but it's never as simple as it looks when you start out (maybe that's why it is fun..)

I see a few different themes developing here. How can each of you integrate the good parts from the other mockups? Do you need to work alone, or would it be better to remix and refine each new version made by your friends (as I see some here have already done).

This is awesome. One suggestion, the thing is, it looks kind of crowded... Maybe simplify somethings? I'm making a php page for my presentation. Imma do real mockup,

Features I would like to see for userpages:
1. Ability to upload a background picture or select a solid color or pre-made one.
2. Ability to leave a comment on a userpage.
3. User bio.
4. Ability to organize your projects how you want. (eg- love-its, views, my favorites [of my projects] ect...)

What would you want to see?

- All projects and resources the user made and likes in the same list/gallery.
- Make it easy to filter the list by
  - what the user made/likes,
  - projects/resources,
  - tags (the user added/agrees with).
(...with hopefully the easiest to understand and use faceted search UI.)
- Changable featured project or resource. (drag and drop from the filtered list.)
  - with short changeable request for help for attention.  (also shown as a signature when leaving comments.)
- Star or "favorite" things to make them sticky at top of the filtered and unfiltered list.
- Changable colors (perhaps background image too.)
- Changeable bio

Some of the most suggested ideas:

I think most of these ideas are compatible.

Also I think it's important to ask:
What is the point of the user page?
Many of these ideas could change its purpose... good or bad.

For me the user page purpose is/should be:

Show what the user makes and likes.
Make it easy for people to explore and find what they like, out of what the user makes and likes.

(I believe what I make and like shows more of who I am than decorations (backgrounds, colors)... although that's nice too.
People may not like what I like the most, or what's popular, so let them explore easily.
I think tags can help us here.)

Ah, more customizable-ness means even more things we'll have to be able to report. I still like the idea, though. I'll make a mockup after I finish my homework.
